Hey Reader, Does this sound familiar? You spent months trying to launch an app. You absolutely LOVED what you built, you polished it, made it absolutely perfect. Then you launched it, and... 🥁 nobody cared! This is the biggest problem that my students, and I will admit, I myself still struggle with. You're Too Smart to Ship FastHere's your problem: the smarter you are, the easier it is to convince yourself you know what users want before they tell you. You see the elegant solution. The perfect architecture. So you build that castle for months. Then you launch it, proud as pie, and the first users roll in saying... "cool, why can't I do this basic thing?" You don't know what you don't know, and... You're Already Too LateBy the time you think you're ready to ship, you're already too late. Some 17 year old kid from Oregon has shipped your competitor 2 months ago. If it feels like "this is perfect to ship", you should have shipped a long time ago. It's right when you feel that uncomfortable feeling of "this isn't ready yet, right?" That's exactly when you are ready to launch. What's the worst that could happen? Follow This One Rule:Have you ever heard about the "Pareto Principle"? You may know it under the more common name, the 80/20 rule. It's a rule that changed my life forever, and if you apply it, it will change yours too. It essentially claims that 80% of results come from 20% of the causes. Here's how it applies to you: About 80% of your work will only matter 20% to users. And about 20% of users will in return make up about 80% of your revenue. Or in other words, 80% of your time is wasted on just 20% of the cash you make. Instead, you could have shipped early, figured out what users really want, and multiply the money they give you. No More ExcusesThis week, ship the idea that's "almost ready", because it's time. You're probably over 200 hours past done, and it's time. The world is ready. I did the same thing last week, launching a new product landing page that I still don't think is ready 🫠 But I did it anyway, because I'd rather learn I'm wrong in two weeks, than pretend I have all the answers. Ship it this week. P.S. The AI Builder's Blueprint is relaunching this week at a crazy price and it includes a free priority upgrade to Version 2. You can't buy it yet, but if you join the waitlist today, I'll send you a limited 24-hours discount once it reopens in a few days. |

Reader, Got a bunch of replies from yesterday's email! A few of you already bought, and I just sent them an email explaining what they're actually getting. Let's just say... it's more than a workshop. I recorded a quick 2-minute video explaining why this first group is different. There's only 5 spots left Grab one of the last seats Once they're gone, I'm closing this and building the app. If you receive a refund, I'm sorry in advance - the limited spots are real! See you there!Rob

Hey Reader, Google dropped Gemini 3 Pro this week. Everyone lost their minds. Then 24 hours later, OpenAI was like: "F*ck you Google! Here's our new model and it's even better!" So here's what happened in these 24 hours of model insanity. And more importantly: If you should even care. What's Really Going On I've watched this play out for a year now. Every single time a new SOTA (state of the art) model drops, the same thing happens: Before release: "This is going to change EVERYTHING!" After...
