Here's my exact process:

1️⃣ Set Up a Project: I created a “Project” for my newsletter, and loaded it with previous emails I actually wrote by hand. Then I set up the “Project Instructions” with the system prompt you can copy from this email.

2️⃣ Brain Dump: I spend 2-3 minutes voice recording my thoughts on something I want to share. No editing, no overthinking.

3️⃣ Let Claude Work: I feed Claude the transcription of my brain dump and turn on “Extended Thinking” (to force Claude to really think about my brain dump and previous emails). This will only take a minute.

4️⃣ Quick Edit: I review the draft and change maybe 5-10% of what Claude gives me. Usually just personal details, to give it that special touch or clarify something from my brain dump, add links, etc.

5️⃣ Hit Send: Schedule and done. The whole process takes me 10-15 minutes.

The Results Are Wild

I'm saving 2-3 hours every single week.

My open rates jumped from 30% to consistently around 50%.

Very few people unsubscribe from the list.

But most importantly, it removed the pressure of "I should write my newsletter today"…

Now it's a no-brainer task I actually look forward to.

Because let's be honest, consistency always beats perfection.

And semi-automation beats burnout.
